Basemaps are aerial imagery and topography that can be viewed separately or together to understand the shape of the terrain, as well as the conditions at the time the area was photographed from the air.
Map Layers overlay your map with important information, like trail slopes, active wildfires, government lands, and more.
Tap the Layers Button in the bottom right corner to change Basemaps and toggle Map Layers on or off.
Topo - contour lines showing elevation changes.
Satellite - aerial imagery.
Hybrid - contour lines and aerial imagery.
Swipe the Layers Menu to the left to view all available Map Layers.
Map Layers are organized differently depending on whether you're in Trail Mode or Snow Mode, but all Layers are available in both modes.
