Viewing Ski Touring Trails in the onX Backcountry App
Tap the Map Modes Button at the top of the Discover Menu to filter trails by type.
In Trail Mode, the only Activity Type is "Hike/Backpack." Tap the Snow Mode Button for "Ski Touring," "XC Skiing," and "Snowshow" Activity Types. Click here to watch a YouTube video about how to use onX Backcountry for skiing.
Tap a Trail Type to show or hide it on your map. If the check-box is filled in, trails of that type will be shown on your map.
You can also filter trails by tapping the Map Mode Button in the lower-left corner of the main map screen.
Viewing Ski Touring, Cross-country Skiing, and Snowshoe Trails on the onX Backcountry Web Map
Click the Map Mode Button in the top right corner of the main map screen to switch between Trail Mode and Snow Mode.
Click the Snow Button at the top of the menu to switch to Snow Mode.
Click the Trails Button to switch to Trail Mode.
Trail Mode has one Activity Type (Hike/Backpack).
