You can search for trails to hike or ski, BLM land, national or local parks and forests, geographic features, and more. Elite Members can also search for private lands by tax address or landowner name.

Using Search in the onX Backcountry App
Tap the magnifying glass icon in the upper-right corner.
Type your search into the search box at the top of the menu.
You can search for:
- Trail names and numbers.
- Latitude/longitude coordinates (decimal format recommended).
- Geographic features.
- Towns and cities.
- Street addresses.
Use the buttons above the search results to filter your search by:
- Featured Trails.
- Trails.
- Peaks.
- Places.
If you have an onX Backcountry Elite Membership you can also search for private lands by tapping the "Landowner" tab underneath the search box.

Click inside the Search bar at the top of the map.
Type your search into the box.
You can search for:
- Trail names and numbers.
