Choose either GPX or KML file format (onX Backcountry does not support GeoJSON format). Before choosing the file format, there are a few things to be aware of:
- Tracks exported as KML files will be converted into Lines. We recommend you Export Tracks as GPX files.
- Lines and Areas exported as GPX files will be converted into Tracks. We recommend you export Lines and Areas as KML files. Importing KML files is not available in the onX Backcountry App, so if you need to transfer Lines and Areas, please use the onX Backcountry Web Map on your computer.
Save the GPX or KML file on your phone.
